In the dawn of my life. Streaks of magenta entwined my heart. Yellow petals engolfed my every tear. Darkness covered my senses. Then I asked, what is the color of love? Red sorrow overshadowed my hopes. The meadows turned purple like the circles under my eyes. No green I again saw. My whole life passed me like a white flash. Now I stand, pale and blue. Surrounded by the color of dusk without ever knowing the color of love. |

walker, Welcome to Passions!! This was wonderful writing. I love the use of the colors to convey your emotions. Very well done. Hang on there, you'll find out the color of love one day. Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
