Serenity gained from vows to love Drawn together in celebration Young in spirit we began Our lives of collaboration Will our love survive to that golden time will your hand still reach out to find me will we still note each glance, each touch that guides us to our eternity Or will we blink and loose the sight of what was planned as love’s design will we turn and walk away from the world that is yours and mine Perhaps the future is best unknown each moment seen as a cherished token that combined with our love will ever be a bond that remains unbroken. When does a memory become an heirloom to be passed down from heart to soul when all the beautiful tomorrows become the yesterdays that make us whole [This message has been edited by Poet deVine (edited 02-13-2001).] |

We have to live the moment because memories can drift away with passing time, even those memories of passion. Nice job! |

All beauty and truth here, s. And the last verse? the only answer that I have is that we create our own heirlooms---we decide. "you never know when you're makin' a memory, they will wish they were here together again, someday..."---ricki lee jones |

I see you’re getting a reputation for writing good poetry and after this I can see why. Thanks for the chance to read and reply Yes, I admit your general rule. That every poet is a fool: But I myself may serve to show it. That every fool is not a poet. |
