(a bit tongue in cheek) I've been thinking about such things I've been around a while So you can assume I've dated a few times A Shirley MacLaine type An Astrologer Even a Buddhist Amidst all those Christians And occasional Jews We Christians Don't discuss religion Or belief much Assuming we know And pretty much agree So - I'm old enough now What is left I know Won't be as long as the decades Already past My thinking is now going this way I decided I want to be Reincarnated Sounds like a better heaven Than clouds, wings and pearly gates Definitely better than Dante's hell Reincarnated as Peter Pan I'll never grow up Hopefully there Is a sexy Never-never land Then I thought of The Scorpios, Libras Virgos and Pisces I've danced the dance with And it makes sense to me I should find a Wendy Whose Scorpio house rules But not all the time What the heck I want someone In the next life To talk with Someone horny Just most of the time So I'm setting up Interviews If you're planning Reincarnation And you've some Scorpio in your sign Let me know if you're interested Great souls have wills; feeble ones have only wishes. ~ Chinese Proverb ~ |

Nice to see someone thinking about things, even tongue in cheek. I'm a Sagittarius, but this sounds interesting to me. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

LOL!!! i love this! VERY well done, Bill! .... my sister's buddhist... i told her, "go ahead and come back if you want, not me!"... i figure i'm going to have this written on my tombstone, "I told them I was sick! And I'm NOT coming back! So there!"... and then underneat that, in smaller letters because nobody will notice it anyway.. lol... i'll have them write... "She tried, but she died. Oh well." .... geesh, a little sardonic today, aren't i? anyway, all this to say i really enjoyed this poem, bill... it was quite creative and put a smile on my face on an otherwise sorta dismal morning... thank you! |

Doreen- and then there's the words supposedly on WC Fields stone: "Better here than Philadelphia" Martie- when I'm not cynical - reincarnation makes sense - read sometime "Archy & Mehetibel" ~S~ Thanks (it's a fun read) |
