Fluted and Full of Light Sigh me into the morning again love, for I am fluted and full of light and breathe this smile of day for you to turn and watch. There is delicious life on these pillows that merge and the shape of your head is engraved there, this softness where my heart turns is still warm. I have curved with you into these years and watched time changing, each day’s passing to shadow, crease and color that tell me I am fragile and no longer new. But you hand me your warm words that see me still in bright love’s glow, and after time has drifted past and bathed my skin, I think that maybe I am as lovely as your vision for you would not say so if dearest love had not made it true. |

Sigh...click click click!!! Wow my friend - how do you do this to me hey? K - it was not an unmusical sound: long, falling, half a sigh, like wind in the wires, or a train distancing. The Muse of Distance, A. Williamson |

I both hear a flute and see a slender, crystal goblet filled with fine champagne...a wonderful read! |

"Martie encourages Constructive Critiques" Haaaaaaaaaaa - only a fool would think this could be improved in ANY way - Were any of the great poets past or present to read this - I cannot but believe that they, like I, would praise it as I am attempting to do. |
