There's a certain inspiration in this town; Something about this place draws me in. Although they're not the first words that came to mind, They’ve developed from much simpler impressions. I am enraptured By the honest radiance of these streets. Tell me, where am I? And, how can I find my way back here? The moon that lingers overhead, No matter what time of day or night-- Takes me back to you... Bringing to mind the warmth of your eyes embrace. Engaging pools of affection...alluring gazes in my direction; With the heat of noonday sun You persuade me to indulge in this passion, And further convince me to stay... Tender words of truth from within... I know from the look in your eyes. Accepting arms gather me in, Never to release their grasp... Read my heart... Peruse the pages of my soul. Just don’t look away... I need to hear these streets whisper your name. everytime I close my eyes, I see your face, I taste you on my lips... every night I fantasize that I can feel you on my fingertips... |

very cool use of metaphor and imagery SP ... cool title too ... the imagery in this is more subtle and that is what makes it so appealing.. very cool conception and inspiration process in this. great graphic too. your poetry has grown and matured much of late... its a pleasure to witness Where the touch of the lover ends And the soul of the friend begins There's a need to be separate and a need to be one And a struggle neither wins |

How evocative this is snowpants...I felt the moon in the small hours in this.. lovely! K - it was not an unmusical sound: long, falling, half a sigh, like wind in the wires, or a train distancing. The Muse of Distance, A. Williamson |

SnowPants~ Drawn into the streets of your recall - sensing the anticipation of return - waiting - listening for sounds of familiarity. Wonderfully portrayed imagery. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
