It’s Called Prayer Virginia Salter A light in darkness Music in clamor Peace in calamity Joy in sorrow Whispers in shouting Power in weakness Love amid hatred Moisture in drought When evil is on all sides, Prayer is a rescue. As a candle flame, in solitary glow, shines a hope for you so, too, a prayer rings of promise through and through © January 28, 2001 |

Prayer is all of this and thank you for reminding me. Sometimes I need to be reminded of where the only true comfort lies. Thanks again...and I left you a note after my last post (the one that kinda scared you). your poems always inspire me...to simply be content and grateful for the calm. |

Thanks for reminding me that prayer leads to the only true, lasting comfort there is. |
