There is a value to be found in this within the challenge that is set to line in forms that flow with complicated twist with shafts that reach into the depths we mine Rough stones to cut and polish 'till they shine aquired of final luster as they age there to reside in setting of the page To craft the precious ore intricately that it may be be-set with sparkling jewels there-in reflecting facets beautif'ly with care and understanding of the tools The fire that drives the forge shall never cool 'till struck are treasured works with artist's mark whose glow became ignited from a spark A wealth that's measured not in toil that flowed nor in commodities that man may trade it springs from learning what we did not know this is the coin in which we shall be paid and so combined may show a truth that's made whose worth forever changes in new light 'till dawns a star by day brighter than night's |

Yes! The material things in life are worthless when all is said and done. I'd rather have the ability to write than a dozen diamond tiaras. |

and this is what it's all about, I believe. I like to think that the measure of man is not about comparisons to others--but an issue of "personal best"...it's all that we can hope to attain. You wrote on my wavelenghth so precisely with this one that you startled me. Thank you. |

DocMoose~ 'The fire that drives the forge shall never cool 'till struck are treasured works with artist's mark whose glow became ignited from a spark' Yes, from the spark to the mark ... we are driven to produce our unique pieces. Wonderful as always, poet. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
