The Wonder of Love! At the closing of daytime When sunset loomed upon the horizon Your hand in mine, our hearts in unison Warming each other's soul with passion As the ocean of love beached an embrace And as our lips met in a moment of silence We were bonded in the wonder of love Love so pure and beautiful Love so clear and natural Love demanding an encore Love only two can explore At the rising of the day When sunrise's heat opened our eyes Your hand in mine, our love for each other On this beautiful morning began to last forever Our souls had experienced the wonder of love In the garden called earth, where daffodils Attract butterflies, and where canaries Whistle the tunes of love's melodies Just as angels of love strummed their harps in harmony Singing, "The Wonder of Love", meant for you and me Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love (Daniel J D) |
