The night It's so quiet I can only hear my thoughts sliding out in the silence as they jump, skip and fall disconnectedly in all directions They love the nights And so I tiredly gather them up One by one Putting them away on the shelves of my mind Close my eyes And wish for dawn To capture and live a moment is truly living |

Dreamkeeper, I like this so much. It's laid out in a way to which I can really relate. Though, I can't always get those thoughts to stay on the shelf. Have to say, too, that last line...right on!!! |
