Year of the Dog I feel unimportant. I feel unnecessary. I feel left out in the rain to soak with no rudder to steer my boat. Left in the sun to dry not ever knowing a reason why. Left on the side of the road all alone unable to find my happy home. As I stare at stormy skies I wonder why I even try. I feel like friendships are hard to make. Why does she now hesitate and jam on the brakes while I watch all traces of love drown in the lake. I understand the way a dog feels when he is kicked by his master. Yet I have no master. Only this life of pain and disaster. Why do people kick their dogs? Jameslee@February07,2001 |

another of life's eternal questions my friend. . . wonderful from you. . . --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

James, This is wonderful! A portait of such deep pain, and a yearning for answers. I hope you will find yours... Elise |

Thank you Sven, Nate and Athens for the nice responses....I think people kick their dogs because they don't appreciate them...James |
