THOUGHTS white screen blinking black line come to me I'll make you mine blink blink blinking akin to a winking bringing words on soon I'm long gone and then the words flow and flow then go and no one cares if there is thought to share and the fingers fly and fly and cry and then they hit the sky and die blink blink blink pause pregnant pause stagnant pause get the gauze the poem is crying…. cryyyinnng…. then as quick as a thought that sticks the words come again but for someone else someone else someone not me so I will rest my thoughts and rest my brain and rest my heart from deep refrain I will take a break because I can but my muse then plays kick the can and my thoughts go racing, once again and I wonder where and I wonder when I wonder if and wonder how if not in the here would it be in the now then would I find some peace and then find some release ~*~*~*~ grace….I need lacey grace I need a whiff of Old Spice I need a scent of Canoe I need a man's smell you need it too… but if you're male, and you're reading this…. then what you need… is much more than this…. you need a touch of silk and a place of satin you need a wholesome touch and accent of Latin… and then I ask did you expect to find this here…. this retrospect? did you expect at all to find a mind that wanders 'round then seeks the climb? did you think that it was just a bit of talk someone that doesn't have a plan of walk? for a woman can walk the walk and a woman can talk the talk and a woman can do these things she can sing she can bring flight to wing for all the dreams and for everything….. so……. I wondered if you would find this here….if you would come into the clear and would you see the art in this… or were you looking …. for just a kiss? 02.06.01 Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

Sounds like no man could resist...well excuted poetry, I expecially loved the one about your muse...I can relate to that. Nicely done! "Every man dies. Not every man lives." -Tim Robbins |

I find this very thought provoking and it reads like one whole poem to me, my interpretation is one of a long distance relationship, by computer maybe, (the blinking screen) and frustration at the lack of physical and sensory contact (the smell of old spice, silk ) and maybe a hint of betrayal in the last line. Its only my view, but I enjoyed the piece very much, Thank you. Regards, Olias. |

Olias, you are too sweet....I've been reading too much of old poetry...combining thoughts of long-faring relationships from overseas to this land, to what could touch from the then to now..but how perceptive of you to see into this as a "today" piece... and you've given me even more grist! Well done sir!... Daniel, thank you very much!... [This message has been edited by Sunshine (edited 02-06-2001).] |

how'd ja know the scents I wear? ( you missed 4711, Royal Copehagen Musk, and something "Piney" I got from Eddie Bauer) (never more than one at a time ~G~) but then - how long might you go on with that verse? ~G~ = as for me I love the silky feel of freshly powdered flesh ~WG~ |
