in the north when eagle
winter's claw latches to keep the law
of nature in control the poor rabbit onto the
dining table goes then sha-zam and the critter
in minuets is gone never to be seen or heard
again no one knows how mother flew the
sky for ours looking for the best-buy
and biggest deal around they
don’t care that she
flew four
hours
in the
air around
town just for their

meal of hare then when the
darn short-tailed Leporidae was
gone mom had to mosey on over
to Jack in the Box for something
I think she said was called
a...... finch fry

it was one of those
days that Rosemary and
myself slaved in the kitchen
for hours and by the time
we sat down to eat
there was not
a morsel
left

Gosh lucky, I really love the layout of this piece! And the words themselves are brilliant. I love how you're able to give the simplest of situations a mystical air. Perfect!
