In a Rush Is it poetry when I close my eyes and without a word wish so hard Is my art the simple wanting of her words spilling from a vase so full the flower standing within so commanding she pours her own rain Is it a song when the rise of my breath floods the earth beneath me and my steps become buoyant floating my soul upon her emerald sea Ask me over and more upon each hour Poetry I find in sightless longing there I hear her voice Art I form as she beckons the clouds to spill at her feet there I sculpt her hands in reach of every drop Songs I compose as my lungs expand there upon her sea my topsail swollen in the urgency of her westward winds Robert Joseph ~enb~ [This message has been edited by Robert Joseph (edited 02-06-2001).] |

I have already told you how much I love this piece, but I wanted to tell you again, that as much as I will always love reading your words, nothing will ever compare to being curled up along side you while you read them to me. thank you for "erasing the distance" |

Would that we could all have one who might write for us like this.... so worthy of a second read, I think I will put it in my library now... |
