For my friend, who can appreciate that darkness has more than one meaning.

Sorry...I couldn't resist..It was bugging me...Perhaps something better will come later on this...

This is wearing on my nerves,
The way they keep suggesting,
That you have crossed over,
Into The Darkness.
All I can do is laugh sarcastically,
Although I'm not usually given to such things.
Ahhh...
How beautiful you make the darkness seem,
They say it,
But in their minds,
They wonder and worry who or what,
Has pulled you in it.
So darkness, I
Contained within the night time hours,
Will still stand,
And roll my eyes,
At the over dramatization,
And groaning assumptions.
I wonder when they'll realize,
The darkness within the night,
And The Darkness within ourselves,
Are and will be, from now as forever,
Different.

Can I be your willful breeze,
Come to touch,
Your heart to ease?

YES!!!

this is exactly what I've been getting at. . . that there is more than one meaning to The Darkness. . . I'm glad that your friend can see that also. . .

I'm still learning, but I know now that we need the light and the Dark in our lives. . . it's a "pairs" thing. . . you can't have one without the other. . .
