Sad songs I can no longer stop the pain lonely lullaby's sad refrain sung in words oh so true of how I long to be with you hold me not just in the night kept in secrets from the light of two hearts so tightly held a place of fire where they meld rhythmic notes soothe my heart agonizing moments as we part still hold pain but how they sing bitter sweet joy that they bring this lonely space within my bed a longing emptiness to be fed close my eyes, hear thy beat listening lulls me back to sleep [This message has been edited by 1slick_lady (edited 02-02-2001).] |

I sensed the pain in this one, Helen. "I walked beside the evening sea And dreamed a dream that could not be." George William Curtis |

Beautiful....left me with the familiar feeling of longing. |
