What I Was Meant To Be If there comes a day Just say And no matter how hard I try I can’t fly When I’ve lost my airy breeze Or I’m caught in life’s trees If there comes that day, help me As I struggle free Help me be what I was meant to be If there comes a moment Not heaven sent And no matter how I flap my wings They are useless things When my wings hang in tatters And I think nothing matters If there comes that moment, lift me Show me beauty Lift me up where I was meant to be If there comes a distant time And life’s not fine And I can’t find the sun’s warm smile I’ve missed it by a mile When the world looks grey and bleak And I look and feel so week If there comes that distant time, raise me Unlock the mystery Raise me up where I was meant to be Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 02-04-2001).] |

You'll get there love. . . you're already on your way. . . I love this one. . . it flows wonderfully. . . ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
