One Step the mind is a wonderful thing and then one step our own worst foe for if I had taken but a step on my way to "go" where would I be now? one step and would this question come, somehow? we see people every day their lives seem so serene one step behind the brick and mortar it's a very different scene behind the mind and the face there wages a war so real one step it makes me cry, at the least, to sigh for I know how they feel… please, God… one step I know I ask the questions and yes, I am bothersome so please don't provide the answers for those days are gone one step all I can ask with a grateful plea is that you guide this next step waiting for me give me the wisdom and the grace one step to handle what comes and what I may face and so I pray… but I don't go to the church I turn to the land instead one step to walk with my head tall as I look on straight ahead I can dress in boots and jeans or wear a silky shift of green one step I can put my hands to the test and come through in deep serene… but what I fear is that one step that might step back, not beyond one step I don't want to go where I've been I care to travel on… so guide me with the one step the one step that will take me to the places that I need to be to the one that will see me through one step take me to the realm of good to be the one I can and let me find contentment in the place I stand one step at a time 02.03.01 Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... Kari dear heart, this is simply stunning, never has your work been better than it is now. Just when I think you cannot get any better you do. And you were so very brilliant anyway, would I be jealous if you were anyone else, no I don't think I would. I would simply delight in your amazing gift. Do I praise too much, no I don't think I could dear heart, because this is clearly a treasure. And I always knew you were exceptionally talented anyway, I know I'm not using the less is more theory today. Because this deserved every phrase I could think of then lots more. I love it of course and you knew that didn't you Mmmm, yes I know! So is that the 12 step program? I'm trying to think of one of my favorite praise songs. It's about one step at a time but right now I can't even think of the title. My brain is older today than yesterday, so I guess that may be why. Either that or I need to get some breakfast in me. You know, food for thought. ;o} |
