Sweet is the passion of innocent youth Raptured by beauty, unaltered by truth To live in the moment, to live in the dream Is written in star dust and floats on a beam Lost is the radiance of love through the years But a sweet little Valentine wipes away tears Something is lost, and yet something is gained And will still be alive in the years that remain Sweet is the passion that’s mellowed with age When a kiss has the polish and mind of a sage And the flesh knows no secrets and yet in its grace It finds new beginnings of love to embrace Who is the soul who would want to return To days of a wild fire too eager to burn When sizzling embers in tranquil demur Can explode into flames with the slightest of stir Elizabeth Santos |

Good rhythm and flow to this one, Elizabeth, just as sweet passion has its rhythm. |

I loved this! It goes with the flow of my mood lately. At least by the way I view it. "This above all-ask yourself in the stillest hour of your night:MUST I write? Delve into yourself for a deep answer. Rainer Maria Rilke from "Le |
