Slowly stir the boiling brew, With fresh bit of meat a stew, Onion, pepper, no carrot Which at the store I forgot. Pot of trouble boils double. Flour, water, and some oil, Baking bread in midst of boil; The window is covered in steam Aroma build to the dream Pot of trouble boils double. The bread has become crusty, The potatoes are mushy, Now I sit to eat alone, Within this cell that’s my home. Gloom |

Feasting Feast awaits you, Sir of Gloom Candles lit to shadow room Courses six, the first of tease Tempting hunger, sweet to please. Waiting lips to taste the night. Second course delights to touch Softened warmth to melt, not much Yet comes the third, tougher still Thy tongue dost need, taste of swill. Waiting lips to taste the Knight. Other courses stay the time Holding court your love of rhyme This feast night spent has no cost Gloom, feed 'til the hungers lost... Lady Ollyne...enjoyed your style sonnet "O, learn to read what silent love hath writ: To hear with eyes belongs to love's fine wit"...Shakespeare |

Sounds like a great supper, except for the being alone part. I could smell that bread baking. Mmmmmmm! To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |
