I ask myself this If tomorrow never comes Will never having seen your face Matter in the grande scheme of things? And I answer...no Then I ask myself If the sun refuses to shine Will never having held you close Change the world in any way? And I answer honestly...no I ask myself If the night never ends Will never having said I love you Be a moment I will regret? And I have to answer...yes So somewhere between the night and the dawn Where the world renews itself I tell you all you mean to me For no other reason than I love you |

Paula, I found myself in a philosophical debate over this one. My conclusion? I don't really know. But that a verse could create that effect, speaks volumes. An excellent poem for me to come back to. Trev. |
