In silence lays the coming dawn, As darkness flees 'fore night's begone, Evening's creatures in retreat, To their lairs, in dark's defeat. Doe and fawn to wooded glen, Calls the loon from distant fen, Verdant plains by Helios kissed, Warming rays, melt morning's mist. In the distance, nightengale, Wakes the land with sweet regale, Shadows of the passing night, Turn to shade in dawning's light. Behold the glory; night's begone, Behold the glory, of the dawn. |

Your rendition is totally awesome, Mike... Dawn is my favorite time of day - It's sort of a renewal akin to that of spring, isn't it?... Nicely done, my friendll ...as usual, I can't resist an oldie but goodie respartee Night's pallid hush acends with gentle Grace. Nocturnal fauna nestles back in ground. Precursive solar tendrils peer around Through tatted eyelets in morn's tree-top lace. Faint blushing tiers of pink and crimson hue Unfold soft wisps of streaming cirrus cloud. The meadow's haze of gossamer a shroud, As crystal sheaths submit to glist'ning dew And cautious sunbeams flicker on the rise. Clenched petals stretch to welcome dawning's rays, A valiant beacon bursts forth in full blaze. The Morning Star now masked by azure skies - Til breath of life, that brief eternity God's sacred Realm embraces only me. [This message has been edited by Nan (edited 02-01-2001).] |

"Behold the glory, of the dawn" Indeed, you have done an excellent job. " I have seen without perceiving I have been another man Let me pierce the realm of glamour So I know just what I am"....Dweller on the Threshold, |
