Just Love and the Basics
or
A Kiss Upon

Fever takes its toll, the heat
enwraps in warmth, yet chills her so.
If only love would chance the meet
the basics, need be all they know.

To venture into words still sealed
in lips that speak with smile half crooked.
And eyes that crave the want, be healed
the basics, only, words she booked.

Into forever, printed page
she writes the needs, desires, lists.
Each time she comes upon the stage,
tantrum thoughts bring out the myst.

And reign they do, these thoughts, these wants
pillared once, for now she leans.
In loss of all in mindfield taunts
in lacey black, her sheerness seen.

Window gazing, silhouette,
you'll see her pacing, each day morned.
Figure fine, a slight brunette
to wash your sleep from dreams adorned.

From night of darkness, ventures she
not knowing chances, colour bathed.
In rainbow, robed, her choices be
another day to dodge, unscathed.

She loves the teals, the hazels mixed
the burgundies, the subtle hues.
Siting passions, becomes transfixed
upon the meanings, morning's views.

And once again, her basic need
to be the one, to have been met
By loving thought, a whispered seed,
a kiss upon her silhouette.
