I tried hiding in a secret place Fear was written all over my face The monster chased me all over town I reconized it from its inverted frown Other monsters watched with hunger Some were old some were younger Their teeth shining with blood dripping My independent soul started slipping I was afraid to face my fear Then the monster shot its spear A girl was almost hit and she cried with tears The girl screamed “No” and ran past her peers Again the monster took aim and fired its arrow Whoosh! It came fast missing me by narrow Hit the best man and then lodges in the ring The sound it made was a deafening ping! The monster had left me with an empty heart As it flew it whispered “You knew this from the start” *Let’s try this with a happy ending I tried hiding in a secret place Fear was written all over my face The monster chased me all over town I reconized it from its inverted frown Other monsters watched with hunger Some were old some were younger Their teeth shining with blood dripping My independent soul started slipping I was afraid to face my fear Then the monster shot its spear A girl was hit and she smiled with tears She grabbed my hand holding on to future years Again the monster took aim and fired its arrow I was hit in the heart, rattling my bones and marrow A hot flame went through my veins As sweat dripped like sunshower rains A spark in my heart, burning fire it became And the girl’s heart flamed just the same I said, “I do” I will always love you And the ring a symbol to show it’s true The monster had left me, as spark became flame As it flew it whispered “Cupid is my name” *If your secret place (your heart) has a cold monster It may just be cupid trying to ignite a burning fire |

Superman just flew by the window!…by the way Lois have you seen Clark?..I got those pictures he wanted developed!…poor Clark always seems to miss out when Superman fly’s by…. Hmm! |

Lois Ya! Don’t worry I put them ones in this lead box I better check to make sure….. OMG!!  What’s this?I must have sent the wrong pictures to the press…we better get down there before they print them…lets go Lois! If only Superman was here!……you take the elevator. I’ll take the stairs and meet you there…if you get there before me and get the pictures before it’s too late just signal me with a wink! Go! Go! Go! What are you just standing there for?….  Oh! Theelevator hasn’t come yet!….alright I’m taken these stairs right now! |
