Write the night is what I can do In dawning hours of color dim Can build on hope and start anew To pull me back from desolation's rim Write the night with my heart and soul Paint the dawn with words of love Write out pain, to me make whole Then give thanks to God above Write with style and with full grace The dawn to catch and seal it strong I'll see the Sunshine on my face To lighten fear and march along Daylight brings its touch of joy But write the night is my employ Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Kethry love, Now where were you yesterday when I needed your inspiration dear heart. If I'd have seen this I could have swiped it replaced it with my poor copy and then I'd have been happy. You know i love this dear heart don't you. Absolutely perfection. (That's probably how others would have know it wasn't mine) tsk foiled again. Thank you love for this beauty, which I'm swiping anyway Take care love as always Slushy Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

Sy, thank you for the compliment. Paula, thank you so much. Coco, Thank you for the splendid. Marsha, Thanks. Yesterday is too far away for me to remember where I was, but it obviously wasn't here otherwise I'd have stolen this idea sooner. Besides it's good for you to work too. Sunshine, I'm a kleptomaniac at heart. Can't help it! I have no excuse! thanks friends, who praise sends Kethry Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen. |

Kethry dear heart, didn't I say that anytime you want to swipe a challenge just take it love. Good for me to work, but love I am, I'm slaving absolutely, I'm working so hard I've had to mop my brow love. This is utterly beautiful, we could swop, but I'd get the better deal because this is excellant dear heart it really is. Love it and you love Take care as always love Slushy Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

This is beautiful! I didn't realize until I read the responses that it was a challenge (I'll confess I don't go there *G*)... I just knew that it was an incredible poem. *S* Keep writing... the beauty you paint with your loving heart is a gift to us all. *S* |

Marsha, thanks, you inspire me to reach to greater heights, just so I can be where you are. suthern, thank you, you are so much the lady and you honor me with your praise Mark, THANK YOU for the Awesome, However I think I have taken outrageous advantage of your good nature and silver tongue. VAS, Thanks, It wasn't really a set challenge. More of a stretch for Marsha, who complains most bitterly and then writes the most amazing poetry. But I would love to see you write it as a challenge. Here are the rules Write the night in sonnet. That's it! Easy for you, yes? be well Kethry Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen. |

It wasn't good nature nor a silver tongue that complimented this poem......I call them as I see them or read them in this case. |

Kethry dear heart, there's another challenge, to write a story, I've tried it, it's not good, but I've done it. Now if you want that one love just post it directly to me, and (Wicked smile ) I'll make sure it gets posted for you. (So Mmmmm how about it) You know me far too well love, but it's work, and I have to have a mutter about it. Take care love, this was really only to bump this, and to get you to do the story. Love you dear heart Slushy Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |
