This is a joint effort between Paula Finn and I she added the talent, and I added, not very much actually. But we did enjoy working together. Predators Roam In the early morning on the Savannah plain The big cats go hunting for legitimate game They pick out their prey and hunt them down So similar as the predator hunts around town Before the heat of the day has stopped play The big cats will feast as the grasses sway When the hunters roam tracking their prey They choose the one who’s keenest to play Finding the victim who will suit their taste Having chosen they enter quickly the race Because not all predators look like they bite It’s not always a wise idea to yield or fight It’s not always clear where the hunter hides For a clever predator shows only his soft side The hunter wouldn’t want his prey to bolt He would much prefer not to taken at fault So until he’s ready to pounce he’s quite still But when he’s ready he’ll be taking his fill The lion stalks from nature and hungers need For the sake of his pride's belly he will feed In the natural world this is the circle of life They hunt because of necessity not for strife But the predator that walks on two legs upright This is the predator who gives heart their fright Unwary souls are lured to have faith and trust But a predators words aren’t gold they are rust They corrode hopes and rip out hearts dreams Just like a lion tearing into his prey it seems The human predator takes a pure heart apart And the pain has barely begun this is the start Marsha and Paula A collaboration Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

Kathleen love, Paula really gave this her special skills, I merely put the odd word in here of there. And don't believe Paula when she says she didn't do much, you know how lazy I am, she obviously did a lot more. Take care love Mushy Nathan thank you love, and I'm sure there will be more from us I did enjoy working with Paula. Well, when i say work I mean she did the work and I coasted. Thank you muchly Take care Mushy Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

"Just like a lion tearing into his prey it seems." Paula and Marsha I think this describes a heartbreak very nice...I felt like my heart was ripped out and devoured...not recently thank God...unfortunately this happens to all of us at some time in our life and we can only hope for healing and love to repair the damage...James |

Paula dear heart, tell them the truth, they all know that I never do anything except mutter and moan, you know it's true. So since they know it was you who did the work, come and say thank you nicely. (Thank you nicely won't do it) and I don't care how big that smile is. Love you dear heart Take care as always Mushy Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

BRAVO! This is so well done! You both have done a marvelous job here! A real in depth work with the wonders of nature as a catalyst....and stop acting like those two chipmunks on Bugs Bunny...you're both talented!! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |
