Tippety tap, Trying to take away, Remnants of migraine hell. Almost 4 am, Morning.. Or daylight comes soon, And I'll be sorry, I didn't stay asleep. Words to fill the hours, Thoughts to ease the trap shut. Reading words and finding solace, But yeilding soon to sleep, I'll unfold again to dreams, That haven't been much better company. Messenger screen glows at me, Wishing I didn't have to leave, Such an old friend, And good company, But things go as they will, And life outside this place, Goes on in about three hours. Three hours until 90 mph, Down another Mississippi highway. Maybe tomorrow I'll slow down. Can I be your willful breeze, Come to touch, Your heart to ease? |

Hey sweetness, y'know you really should think about taking a day off once in a while. *grins* They are so much better for you in the long run. Did I ever tell you that I really enjoy being your friend? I mean c'mon, we've only been talking together for how many years? Through three websites even. LOL But yeah, you are incredible to be as strong as you are, as thoroughly thought provoking in your personal statements. I guess most of this should just go in a nice little email, but I forget to do things like that. So since I'm here, I might as well type what's on my mind, right? I never noticed how many commas I skip over. Guess that's what I get for typing my train of thought *grins*. Where was I before I so rudely interrupted myself? Oh yes, you are a great person, a remarkable writer, and a blessing to be my friend. Love ya. |

TemptyOne~ Babble on ! 'Reading words and finding solace, But yeilding soon to sleep, I'll unfold again to dreams, That haven't been much better company.' I often wonder what I did in the insomnia hours BEFORE finding this haven ! With that migraine - take sixteen poems and call us in the morning ! Enjoyed your thoughts. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

funny how your babbles always seem to make sense to me. . . great one. . . ---------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

You poor baby! Migraines are a curse to womanhood! I have never tried to write a poem with one, though. You did good, hope the headache is gone and you have a great week-end. Hugs, ME |

I've had some very recent nights just like this - the 26th stands out - and I had to drag my butt to school early - ~sigh~ Thank God my students were understanding |
