As we grow older, And hair turns to gray, Our thoughts and our bodies, Change in all ways A friend or a loved one, Passes on leaving grief, But they leave too our memories, That touch us so sweet The soul never dies, Nor their memories depart, They'll talk to you daily, And live on in your heart Time brings us healing, It takes quite a while, But their soul you'll carry with you And will soon bring a smile May God bring you peace, May your heart quickly mend, May your tears turn to laughter, Till you're together again.
