This is very pretty, and I just love the graphic! Kind of makes the snow easier to love. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

yes yes yes yes yes! Wonderful! Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

Thank you for posting your inspiration, Charisma. I do enjoy Haiku, Senryu, and Tanka. The syllable count refers to classical JAPANESE poetry. English poets typicaly hold with the number of lines but at times ignore the syllable count. No matter how you choose to write...keep posting your gems for us. INclan |

Very nice tanka, whatever that is, it gave me chills.. Both because it was well written and because I hate the snowy winters here in Norway. fH -- "Luck affects everything. Let your hook always be cast; in the stream where you least expect it there will be a fish." Ovid (BC 43-18 AD) |

thank you flyhigh for your kind reply, well overhere its a while ago that it was really winter, only some wet snow falling down, but hey in my fantasy it must be marvelous to play around in thick white snow. And after running and playing drinking hot chocolate milk.....mmmm...remind me on good old days. |

This reminds me of one I had as a little girl, and how I loved it, thank you so much for the memory! What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life. Walt Whitman |
