Poeminister, I don't believe there is a minimum, I have seen them published with as few as 7-8 words...they may never be OVER 17 syllables tho...12-17 seems to be the norm, with those who don't hold with the 17 syllabla standard. Kaile, Beki smiles VAS, thanks a bunch. Dennis, I loved your haiku, I have written many poems about just such a moon. Thank you for sharing yours |
