The Lady that lives with Jesus Almost one year from this day and still at times I ponder why that precise moment would soon arrive in which my precious friend was destined to die leaving me alone to wonder in dismay why she would leave on the very day I simply needed her to stay. Only God knows the moment when our time on earth is done. so when her time arrived he merely said to her "Come onto me fair one. Your time on earth is done. Yet heavenly time has just begun." And I know in my heart I shall worry no more for a beautiful lady living with Jesus forevermore. Jameslee@November30,2000 Inmemoryofmyprecious friendMargaret. |

Such a beautiful tribute to a lady you loved dearly. It is saddest for us who are left behind to feel their absense. You have put it beautifully in this poem as you share that you know in your heart you will see your dear friend again someday. This was sadly beautiful. Much love from me to you. Love I leave with you my friend whether it be in your life or of yet the essense of your dreams. http://path2riches.com |

James, What a sweet tribute to a dear friend. I am sure she will be waiting to greet you on the other side. Nice writing. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

This reminded me of my Aunt Margaret, who I know is with Jesus, and I nearly broke down and cried! Thank you for posting this one. "Always be a first rate version of your self instead of a second rate version of someone else." Marilyn Monroe |

Thank you Koko and Irish for spending this time with me. She was a wonderful friend...I enjoyed her much and I miss her much...she will have a glorious Christmas with her heavenly father the one that gave us the true meaning of Christmas when he gave us his precious son Jesus...for God so Loved the world that he gave his only begotten son...best wishes for Christmas...James |
