Tonight, I'd like to sit with you Under the clear night sky, Full of glittering stars, Each communicating, In its own language, The message of the heavens. As we reminisce On days of the past, I'd ask you about everything I've always been afraid to know. Perhaps you can give me answers; Tell me the truth in your heart. How astonishing it would be If you had all the explanations; My heart would no longer wonder. It would then be possible to sit Under the cloudless, star-filled sky And take in the wondrous beauty Of a clear conscience. 'cause I am hanging on every word you say, and, even if you don't want to speak tonight, that's alright, alright with me... |

Hey! Great stuff, snowpants! I want to sit there too..."Under the cloudless, star-filled sky, And take in the wondrous beauty, Of a clear conscience", but I'm afraid my conscience may be lacking somewhat. jwesley |

snowpants, Wonderful writing. If only we had all the answers, we would never have to wonder again. How astonishing it would be If you had all the explanations; My heart would no longer wonder. Very good. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
