This poem was written for my fiance when we were first together.Just a couple of months earlier, I had lost my three year old son, who was killed in a wreck when his dad was drinking and driving. You are the one who dried my tears And because of you I overcame my fears You brought back laughter and restored my joy I was such a mess when I lost my little boy But you came along as if by fate Put love in my soul where there was hate You taught me once again how to smile And I knew I'd be okay again after a while. |

I feel weird posting on my own poem...I'm new to the forms , and I think this is the only way I can add this poem to my library...Vain of me, I know...I'm sorry |

Soozieque_28~ I can't even begin to say how this ripped at my heart........to say I'm sorry about your son, seems so small, and just not enough.....this is a beautiful poem, thank you for sharing this with us. -SEA |
