There Is No Distance Between Our Hearts I can feel your breath softly fanning my skin And you can feel my fire flaring up within Your words stoke the fires into blazing heat And knowing the delight I await the repeat Piercing through the air your eyes caress me This love, this joy I know that this should be The distance between us disappears from sight As I hear your words lighting up my dark night You are the star that guides me, calls me home It's your voice that I need to hear on the phone You are the sigh that I hear in the warm breeze It's you that makes me sigh a contented please You are the reason my heart smiles in the day And the purpose behind all that I do and say I can feel your presence right here in my heart Many miles may separate us but we are not apart The wind carries your tender kisses back to me I can feel your arms about me wherever I may be My life is fulfilled now that I am totally yours And my kisses fly to you on your distance shores I taste your honey sweet kiss tingle on my lips And I'm drunk on you, intoxicated by loves' sips You speak and angels lean closer so they can hear With your love surrounding me I can feel no fear When you're out of reach I still hold your heart And we don't need to touch for the fires to start Passions heat ever near burst into instant flame Forever different, but eternally always the same My heart resides within you, as yours beats in me Our love right from the first was destined to be Marsha  Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

I totally love mushy poems like this. And it makes me think of my relationship...My fiance is away a lot driving a truck, but our love keeps us close in heart. I love it. |

My mam used to say, that the only thing that holds us back is ourselves. And that HE never intended us to go through lives without true love, and she's right.
