Thoughts, Fading in and out, Through this haze, Of peaceful deprivation. Moonless dark, Evokes a certain mood, As the winter, Settles in for the night. Rainy January will soon be here, Bringing back the feel, Of past lovers, Holding hands in a warm car. In these hours of desperation, Sleep is forced to the back seat, While words haunt and demand, Linger and awaken. Two minutes until eyes close, Abandoning will, For sleep and dreams. Rest now, Hush now, For the night soon escapes, And slips away, Before the tyrant daylight comes. |

This read like a sweet lullaby What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life. Walt Whitman |
