Replacing The Rose

For you alone a rose I give
Its splendour and beauty alive
With the essence of nature
Combined with my heart's murmur
Let the message it brings
Unite us for many happenings

If the petals wither and fall
Remember to just give me a call
And I promise to rejoin the petals
To make the rose flower once more
As our hearts rejoice in an encore
Of limitless love and joy
For we were meant for each other.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
(Daniel J D)

Daniel this is so lovely...And I promise to rejoin the petals
To make the rose flower once more
Wish you could do this for me

Ignore those who would clip your wings...fly ever upward...even if it means scorched wings

Daniel*
This is so delicate and beautiful...just
like the petals of the rose you speak so
eloquently of.  Such tender weaving~

This is a wonderful piece, with all of the life and beauty of the rose you describe. Thanks for sharing.

It went straight to my heart!

What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life.

Daniel, you have found a new way to go beyond the normal reaches of love and then penned it exquisitely.  Wonderful write from you and so glad to see your name back in here.
