There is nothing sadder
Than the sound
Of silent tears
Raining down

The one element that I love about this poem is that it's so true.

It is, in a way, an oxymoron "the sound of silent tears"

small, but yet large

They may be silent but I can hear them I know where they come from....and they fall into the abyss of loneliness ...but the escape from there is easy if it's done on the wings of the dove of love....where the spirit soars once again in the wonderful stream of consciousness...where the great light fills the sky and the sound of children's voices sing where the rain of all injustice falls on the umbrella of indifference...take care... ethome

Paula~
You've said so much - in so little space.
Lovely, lady.

Paula,
Well expressed, and I do agree. When the pain is so much and no one is around or understand, the silent tears hurt even more. I know the feeling. Cheers, my dear friend.
