Kissed by Reflection Reaching out to touch the morning dare to rest upon each leaf Saran-wrapped thoughts ever begging inside, memories nightmare's thief Whisper kisses holding onto butterfly feelings soon to rise Morning dew from lips, impressions mind taped pictures behind closed eyes Once upon a time of loving Princes rode upon their white Stallions all, captivating into the dark, a soul to light The lady sins, becomes then nameless shamed reflections crystal clear Iced the hurting eyes of velvet bruised, the want to disappear Naked now her thoughts before her dressed, undressed no change occurs For kisses only, soft and gentle morning's touch in her, prefers So, awaits the dew of morning knowing where it hides it's draw Sketched in hues in subtle colours shades of bluing cover all Always is a "never ending" fairy tales, forever mores Reflections, kiss each day's story when comes the opening of morning's door. ~Wynter < !signature--> "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (edited 11-17-2000).] |

Love that title..."Kissed By Reflection" it really sets up the rest of the poem so well.. "whisper kisses holding onto butterfly feelings soon to rise" soft and warm "Reflections, kiss each day's story when comes the opening of morning's door." UMMM nice mood makes you want to create!! |

Wynter, this is a very well written piece, it's a lot more complex than it at first appears. Wonderful writing from you, interwoven with many deep threads. I really love this one. Well done excellant work. Take care Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |
