My philosophy of life surely is so grande because there is so much happiness I wish I could spread throughout this land! If each person on this earth just would be so kind, to wear a smile upon their faces all the time then happiness and joy surely would prevail, and life would go on as a delightful fairey tale. So when you feel as if you need to wear a frown, just remember that if you don't let it nothing can get you down! For you see my friend, you can make of life whatever you want it to be. All that you must do is try to follow this philosophy; Life will only be what you make it day by day, so just believe in yourself and you will find happiness along the way. For those who give the gift of themselves surely will receive the greatest pleasures of life; friendship, peace, and harmony On the wings of words our spirits fly, and our souls are free. I am saddened to know that this brought bad feelings to anyone or hurt anyone's feelings by posting it. I wrote this when I was only about sixteen years old, and I still try to live by this philosophy. I re-read this from time to time as just a reminder to myself of those feelings. I in no way intended for it to bring feelings of sadness to anyone, and I apologize if such is the case. Thank you all. |

No, what you wrote is true and how I should live my life. I am the one who should apologize. Thank you for reminding me that all I have to do is believe in myself and share kindness with others. It was late and I just let the darkness into my heart. What you wrote was beautiful and I'm glad you are still living by your philosophy. |

I don't believe it brought out bad feeling, my friend, rather it may have helped some clear the air and vent some things (a good thing) and you must remember that with every utopian world, thought, or idea, there are 10 that face lesser realities. This doesn't mean you can't express yourself, but you must be ready to let other express themselves without being hurt or upset in any way when their world comes into view. Re-reading all the comments, I know not a person meant to lessen what you so wonderfully said. jwesley |

Gentle Spirit, I find it difficult to live by your philosophy because I don't think I am capable of making my life whatever I want it to be. It is only possible to live by yor philosophy if I change what I want it to be to what I can make of it? All may not as unfortunate as myself.
