Where's My Youth Gone. < !signature-->~~Daniel J D~~ Sometimes I remember A few moments of my life When I got into strife I also remember Times of play and fun Out in the rain or the sun Now I often wonder Where has it all gone? Where has my youth gone? Am I in this world alone? Does anyone hear my ponder? I have lost my youth Please bring it back, to soothe I call upon all who shared the days Nights, moments and plays It was mine, and I lost it all What am I to do if no one answers my call? Ahhhh Daniel...you make me feel old...lol and of course everytime I "think" I'm young my children remind me by asking if I ever had pet dinosaurs  Seriously though this is excellent penning...you dove deeply to the emotions of "where has the time gone" and brought me along for the ride~ You cannot dance in the sun until you have cried in the rain~ |

Daniel...I do understand...and I have this little "memory" problem as well...but youth? No thank you...was hard enough the first time, lol...me? I'm liking NOW. (for now...) grins and hugs...a wonderful write. |

Daniel, Tis gone into the making of a stronger and educated beingness- and into the making of vivid memories that you can look back upon which you express beautifully in the words of this poem and everyone is always entering a new "youth" -always one of a new phase in life...we all ought to feel fresh to every new one its never fully gone and there's always a new one to come. Your poems have been so sad lately. Hope things will come together and be well for you... This was excellently written and expressed.
