One Walk I need not know what another holds in their heart for me For I live always on the light that only you can see Oh, how it shines like the moonbeams that dance in the sky I've one walk in life so let me spend it looking in your eyes... Just our strength I will live with and on the rays of your love Cause I only need your arms to hold me up There's only one road I'll ever travel and it leads to your door So, my one walk in this lifetime is what I've waited for... A million prayers but one surely answered and now here you are Fewer steps to my better days cause your light's never far I believe in the man that made me see heaven once again So, I'll spend my one walk in this lifetime being your kindest friend... Allow my days to give you such sun for all time And, on bended knee I'll give thanks that in this life you are mine One walk we are given so we must always hold on tight And, give thanks for the miles together each day and new night... Allow my nights to give you such a wanted pleasant dream This time let my light give you peace to all new things seen I have just one wish that I may be forever by your side So, I'm taking the chance and the walk before it passes me by... Just one word holds the meaning for eternity at last And, it's "us" in all ways from present to past It's the wisdom to lead and the courage to need that's so true I've got just one walk in life so let me walk it with you...
