Thoughts waves crash against sandy shore at the closing of another day sun descending behind tall pine trees as time starts slipping away the sound of thunder in the distance as lightning meets dark blue sky and i sit and ponder over issues as always constantly questioning why rain comes pouring down puddles all around funny how sometimes when it hits water doesn't make a sound why is it people play games when really there's no use and after all is said and done all that remains is years of abuse sitting in the rain i let it wash over my soul hoping that when the sun comes out i'll once again feel whole amy m kennedy |

Amy, I don't think abuse can ever be "washed" away, but the rain may dilute them. Know that you are not alone. Prayers and hugs, ME |

mother earth~ you are true about the rain not being able to wash way abuse...but it does help at least for the time being to sort of concentrate on what's good in ones life and forget the not so good at least for a while. thanks for your kind response. eaglescorpion~ glad you liked the symbolism! that's exactly what i was going for with this one. take care~ amy ~A true friend is one soul in two bodies~ |

And forgetting... even for a while... may be just what's needed to maintain sanity. *S* Great thoughts here, Aimster! |
