haiku 105

silver veiled moon
slipping in and out of clouds -
from whom do you hide?

haiku 107

after the gifting,
tinsel dull and lights gone dim -
scent of pine lingers.

haiku. i would like to try. what is the definition of haiku? i am compelled by the simplicity.
