You Want Me to Accept the Blame? Virginia Salter I was weak I was tired The world went right on Luring me Making promises Prompting thoughts of reckless spawn I could not see I could not pray My tongue filled up my mouth My sinew was as a single thread’s Attempt to hold a house. I went along As tide did pulse As rivers flowed with me My path was changed By whim and strain As streams head to the sea Now would you say Now would you chide The moves that I did make Could have been Some other way, To protect and keep me safe? © January 7, 2001 |

Came in to ask if this was too much religion to receive comments. It's actually a rebuttal question to the pastor, in its theme. However, when I popped in I saw how it came out on the board. The ME was the part that was supposed to be extra big and the rest of the title the same as the first 2 words. Didn't mean to yell. I almost laughed out loud when I saw how the title came out, I think it would have been hysterical/nervous laughter though. Sorry for shouting. ;o |

Virginia, I could always move it to the Spiritual Forum where it might receive more replies...just post your comment here... and does your minister shout like this all the time...LOL...{~,^} |

Minister didn't shout at all, neither did I, but the type sure did. ;o} You can move it to the spiritual forum if you like. I've never been there myself. Didn't even realize there was one. Observant, aren't I?! |
