I am fire, yet gentle, safe, and warm I wonder why I come alive, during a storm I hear each raindrop sing I see my soul bow to my heart's King I want to hear the ocean's roar I am fire, yet gentle, safe and warm I pretend to be able to hide what's in my heart I feel life without love, will tear you apart I touch your heartache, wishing only, to take it away I worry I'll die, before I get to say all I need to say I cry for those who die in vain I am fire, yet gentle, safe and warm I understand you can't know joy until you've been through the pain I say dancing is better, when done in the rain I dream of friends, once special in my life I try to be a good mother, a loving wife I hope for my heart to be understood~accepted~ loved I am fire, yet gentle, safe and warm ~SEA~ [This message has been edited by SEA (edited 01-07-2001).] |

My friend, this is a wonderful look into you and from what I have learned it is all too true. Very nicely done and I might add that I have never been burnt nor even singed by you though you are fire. Beautiful entry into the challenge and I would say you met it with stars flying high. |

I understand you can't know joy until you've been through the pain ======================= wise and beautiful ... your I am is a perfect summation of the Sea-girlie we see in your poetry and replies. glad to see your smiling face back later-all wet and loving it-gator jm No one ever told me ...
