Lay Me Down My Love Lay me down my love and summon me Touch me with your essence Hold me and fulfill me Fill my spaces with silence Fall into me Tumble me down my love and fill me Enchanter of my sighs Stroke me and soften me Call forth my soaring highs Move into me Take me down my love enlighten me Play the music of my heart Bathe and delight me Conduct the sighs apart Fly into me Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

this poem sent my head spining. The words say to me that you give all of you to your mate. What a wonderful poem. I loved it. Love and light, Richard |

"Tumble me down my love and fill me Enchanter of my sighs" I love the flow of this, soft and enchanting...very beautiful...nicely written. Poeminister "...no single sound too rude upon thy slumber shall intrude, Our thoughts, our souls- O God above! In every deed shall mingle, love." -Poe |

Richard love, I do love I do, I am never half hearted love not in anything. Thank you love, Take care kid Mushy Rex, I don't want you keeling over love, maybe I'd better have the resus team on alert? Thank you love Take care Mushy Wynter love, thank you, a change for me, I know, the style isn't something I've tried much. (But I'm doing the less is more lessons at the moment) Take care Mushy Poeminister, thank you very muchly love, I do appreciate it Take care Mushy Sven love, so you like? thank you muchly, see what the sisterhood have been teaching me. (It's alright we don't gather and incant spells or anything) But the idea is to reflect the heat, not coat it in too many words. And Kari's right it works far better, although I still have to restrain myself to add embellishment. Thanks again kid Take care love Mushy Margie girl, thank you love, that is the nicest thing, I really pleased. And as I say I found it easier than I expected Take care love Mushy Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |
