Sisterhood Of The Phoenix We are all phoenixes we will arise from the faded fire Shaking the grey ash from our plumage feel our desire Stand back in amazement as we spring from the hearth Stretching wings of fire we break free from this earth For all the time we've been nurturing ourselves in pain Now using that knowledge we will spiral upward once again We've battled through our heartaches learning as we go Witness what failure has made of us watch the fire flow Through the pains of rejection, the loss of our own pride Watch as we shoot ever higher in this our freedom ride Feel the spirit of us as we take off into the blessed night How beautiful are we aren't you stunned by our fiery flight For too long we've waited restless within our own soul Now we bathe in the fire to make ourselves quite whole The endless tears we've shed have washed away the dust Now into heaven we'll soar feel the power of our thrust Stand back in wonder and witness what you have wrought For in hearts truth our souls found the fires we'd sought With each new heartbreak the power slowly surely grew Until now as phoenixes we spring newly arisen before you Our power of self-renewal is awesome in its majestic way By the heat of these our flames your manly hearts we sway We breathe in the fire and release our spirits to fly high Our wings of flame are so bright they even make angels sigh Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

Kari love, you know why I wrote this, and I thank you eternally love. I did say 'not me, not now, and never again', didn't I. My sister phoenix, fly high and free love, always and now I shall find a thermal and soar awhile.
