Passions Hold...

Gently they're drifting in feather like softness,
In grayness of morning, the sunshine in fade.
Touching the beauty with eyes, as I view same
Wondering in distance, if your eyes invade...

My thoughts that are tender, the memories that cover
Cloaking the tree limbs, so bare, holding tight.
Waiting the quilting, of warmth from the whiteness
As I sit here dreaming, with you in mind sight...

Gliding and sliding, thoughts keep on slipping
Wishes  "till next time" are heartened with care.
Dancing, ballet like, the flakes hold attention
As I, in my dream state,  am wanting me there...

You are, as I am, ingrained in my heartbeats
Pulsing in rhythm, each breath that I speak.
If only you felt what each moment of living
Expels from my sighing, from words that bespeak...

Desires that melt me, as snow with its coolness
Upon which my skin with it's warmth, soaks, imbues.
Oh how you cloak me in thoughts of you daily,
Comforted quilting, I'm pieced and infused...

Inspired, yes always, by poetry in motion,
The dance of the snowflakes, their touches that peak.
Collecting upon me, the piling of wonders
This morning is made up of passions, unique...

Hello Wynter,  I like this very much. You have an easy style that is fluent with many nice twists of words to make it different and poetic.  Thanks,   Stan

Stan...thank you for your comments..I have lived in the PA  Dutch area in a small town for almost 25 years now..the natives tend to speak  in reverse phrases at times..and darn if I haven't picked that up...

Kathleen, I knew you would..being another romantic.. and the snow was so lovely this morning...until I had to shovel it twice...

Richard...as always you are so very  generous in your comments to me huggzz

Good morning Wynter,

My, my, you have certainly out done yourself with this writing. Goodness, I felt every line, flowing like a soft breeze in the night, and leaves swimming on their branches in the moonlight. Geez, see what this writing did? My best to you.

Tracie~ pleased that you enjoyed

Poeminister- I  enjoy when you read and feel what I am expressing, thank you ...always appreciate your visits

E- I once was told I was my father's princess (although I never knew it )but never a queen...and open, warm inviting responses tend to make me pen my words in kind.
*and this is so sweet- "a lovely gentle dove of the poet world" no one has ever said any such thing to me before...(don't tell anyone, but it brought a tear or two to my eyes this morning) thank you, E huggzz...
