It Didn't End As A Fairy Tale

So it didn't end as a fairy tale should
Did you really imagine that it would?
For it's a bubble you've been living in
And ignoring the truth should be a sin
If you block your ears and shut your eyes
When you take a fall comes as no surprise
What you thought of as something real
Seems suddenly to have lost its appeal

Do you really wonder why it had to all end
You didn't think that his heart you'd mend
For all you did was offer him some respite
Your love wasn't seen as his golden light
But don't you despair and be cast down
Try to smile wipe away that teary frown
There's a silver lining the sun will shine
And you know soon that you'll be fine

Pick yourself up wipe away all those tears
Ignore your pain banish back those fears
For now you need to move forward and let go
These first steps are painful, they hurt so
But each step forward is one step more
And before you know you will soon soar
Look to loves heaven and set yourself free
And you will be blessed you wait and see

Yes, you have to pick yourself up and keep going.
Here's wishing fairytales and dreams could come true for you.

Dee love, thank you sweetie, I'm taking it one step at a time, because each step forward moves me on. I've done more than my share of crying love, and I'm not going back there. I'll learn, I'll breathe, I'll be, ME

Oh sweet one, the problem is certain men do see a sign on us saying we have a soft heart and feel they can use us to make them feel better. *sigh* dear one, I have been there myself and I can just say, BRAVO!!Keep your dreams alive and a man will come who will live your dreams with you and charish you as you deserve to be charished. Much love and hugs to you from me.

Love I leave with you my friend whether it be in your life or of yet the essense of your dreams.

You've taken quite a step by reaching out to the hearts at passions here...and they have responded well... no one likes to see a fellow poet with an open and loving heart get hurt...when one does they rally behind that one as they have done for you my little nurse love...you are a real good girl. It doesn't take to much to figure that out when one reads the open thoughts in your poems... have a good day right away cause you deserve it..       your old poet pal ethome

P T love, thank you so very very much, I'm working really hard dear heart honestly. Nothing convinces me that Passions is my ever loving home more than times like these. Well thank goodness for my family. And they are far easier to share time with than my sisters.
I shall indeed rise again love I know I will.

This poem reminded me of myself...I like it when someone seems to need me and I start having feelings for them but suddenly they don't need me any more and they are gone and I am hurting...after a while I get tired of hurting and determined to move on...ready for a repetition of the same it seems...James
