If I baked you a chocolate
cake and stirred in a
spoonful of bitterness
Could you taste the
saccharine?

I liked your metaphor here...and yes I understand the need to disguise true feelings in pretty packages...(I think most poets do...) OKAY, OKAY...sometimes I slip..giggle..but let's give this one another go round?
