Explore...(Ghazal) Bathed in dreams that search for more Leave feelings traveled for one to explore. Candlelight shimmers on pale to implore Awaiting the dark of a strangers explore. In liquid black, his shadow comes fore Painting with touches, in sighs of explore. Seductively treasured, he opens the door Melting the moments, flamed in explore. Surfacing she, he devours her shore Heating the night, till morn will explore. Sustaining the hold, of hungers outpour Erotic the present, of borrowed explore. Unfolding her dreams yields realitys core A reactor of loving, a nuclear explore. ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

Very nice format. I don't know the rules to this form but it sure looks like it would be fun. You did a wonderful job in this one but of course you would. Thank you for introducing a new style to me. |

~Victoria, they are actually very easy but a little trying in that they are repetitious.. you should try one..*s "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

I have read beautiful poems in this form before - but the sensuality of this one stands out - most beautifully |

Mark - Mark the format is simple..and can have many variations, mainly that the last word on the second line of each is to be the same and other variations are the first line of the first couplet ends in the same word...and the rest can either rhyme or not..depending on what you choose...I posted the other two variations called On Life..earlier this week. You are so sweet, serenity...I try to write sensual in a romantic sort of way..*s Well when I please Bill.. I know I have done "good" ...thank you ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

Kathleen- I was "charged up" ...what little good it did me.... Charisma- the form can be a challenge just to keep it from becoming so monotonous ...huggzz to you E...~~sighing~~ I haven't a clue either...just after 30 plus years...he fell "out of love" with me...and should have told me so several years ago...guess I couldn't do for him what someone much younger can now...and I no longer blame him...just hope he finds a continued happiness elsewhere and someone that will put up with all his *whatevers* ... trying to be kind here... and you did make me feel good saying that..but you know...what one sees is not always what another sees in someone.***making me too thoughtful this late at night*** huggzz to you kind sir ~Wynter < !signature--> "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (edited 01-06-2001).] |
